Abstract

In this part, I started to learn about SwiftUI to build apple watch app for 12bay app.Through this part, the desired result is to build 12bay application for apple watch and learn about new knowledge such as SwiftUI, Combine framework in the field of Wearable App Integration.

Completing this section, we must know the following knowledge:

1. Have knowledge about SwiftUI.

2. Have knowledge about Combine framework

3. Have knowledge about Watchkit app architecture

4. Have knowledge about HealthKit, WatchKit

5. Develop 12Bay application on watchOS

Motivation

Wearable App Integration

Wearable devices are already ruling the world. According to Statista, connected wearable devices reached 453 million in 2017 and will reach 929 million by 2022.

App developers and businesses should get ready with apps that provide an excellent digital experience to users on Smartwatches and wearables, thus gaining a distinct edge over those who do not. It signifies the rise in wearable technology — one of the essential mobile app development trends in 2022.
