1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Proximity Lock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

3. Description of Service

Proximity Lock provides:

• Proximity Auto-Lock: Automatic Mac screen locking based on iPhone Bluetooth proximity
• Café Mode: Anti-theft alarm system triggered by charger removal, lid closure, or screen tampering
• Remote Control: Remote lock and sleep commands from iPhone to Mac
• Activity Logging: Local event history and device status monitoring

All features operate via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with zero cloud dependency.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App
• Distribute, sublicense, lease, rent, or lend the App to third parties

5. Purchases & Subscriptions

Proximity Lock offers a 3-day free trial with full access. After the trial, a one-time purchase is required to continue using premium features.

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

6. Disclaimers

Bluetooth signal strength can be affected by environmental factors (walls, interference, device settings). The App should be used as a supplementary security measure, not a sole security solution.

Café Mode alarm is designed as a deterrent and may not prevent theft in all circumstances.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Proximity Lock or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App will cease immediately.

You may terminate by deleting the App from all your devices.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
